The movie, Rabbit proof fence, is about that half-blood kids don’t must live with their own family. So all half-blood kids have to go to a place, the place name is More River Native Settlement. In this movie, we follow the three kids Molly, Daisy and Gracie, 2 sisters and their cousin, who live with the cousins and their mother.
The mother knew that if someone found out, that the three kids were with her, they would be move to More River Native Settlement. But the people, who would destroy the unwanted race, found out that she hide the children with her in Jigalong. One day some people came to Jigalong to catch the three kids, that the mother saw the car, she was screaming that they should run, and they do, and their mother ran too. But the car was too fast, and it catches them. The three kids were fighting for their life, but it was impossible, the man was too strong, and they couldn’t do something. They were driving by More River Native Settlement…
When they came to More River Native Settlement, they were scared. They were alone, and they didn’t know who they could trust. There were many, many kids. Everybody at More River Native Settlement was half-blood, like them self. In the dormitory, there were beds over it all, and the toilet was a pail, the kids even self should clean up. When they ate, they have to say grace, and they must not talk when they were eating at all. The three girls won’t be there for long, so they escaped one day, where all the other kids weren’t home. They stole eggs, to eat and water to live for.
