After a long trip to faraway downs, she finds her beloved husband dead. The authorities tell her that he was killed by an aboriginal elder named King George. The first night on faraway downs, she hears some singing, she finds a boy who had sneaked in to the house. He tells her that his name is Nullah, and tells her that he can’t be seen by flether. because he don’t wanna be separated from his mother. (Nullah was a halfblood)
Cattle station manager neil fletcher want to get control over faraway downs, so that king Carney will have no competition from other cattle stations. She fires Flether because he hits the boy Nullah, who apparently is nullah’s father. The shiriff comes to faraway downs and Nullah and his mother hides in the water tank. Lady ashley had taken control over faraway downs. Neil gets angry and releases the cows. Lady ashley hires drover, and his to men to get the cows back, but they needed more men. so Nullah, old man, and the kitchen staff helps in. They find the cows, and brings them to a safe place. on the way to darwin, fletcher sets the place on fire, the cows runs directly to an edge, but Nullah saves it all by his voice. meanwhile fletcher poisened all of the water in the erea. they have too passed “no mans land” they are close to die buts survive. they bring the cows to darwin and gets them on the big metal ship with the help of Drover. they go to a party and drover and ashley are kissing. They go back to faraway downs, everything seems to go nice. Nullah goes on walkabout without getting alout to. The sherif coughts him with king george
