Brokencyde is a band from New Mexico, that consists of Se7en, who stands for Lyrics, Screams, gangster raps and production. Mikl who is hype man and stands for vocals. Phat J for the Synth, backup vocals, Growls and Raps. And of course there is Antz, who stands for the hardcore lights, fogs and DMX! And they have also the crunk pig dancer named Bree.
Brokencyde was the brainchild of the lead singers Se7en and Mikl. They had been friends in high school, and after discussing relationship problems with each other, they decided to start a band. According to them, the etymology of their band name comes from the idea of being "broken inside", hence “BrokeNCYDE”. From there, they began to write more lyrics and songs and promote themselves online. Later, the other two members, under the pseudonyms "Phat J" and "Antz", joined the band.Their self-released debut album, entitled The Broken!, was released in 2007.
In the summer of 2008, they performed on the GET F$CKED UP US Tour with Millionaires as the headliners and Hyper Crush as another supporting act.Brokencyde was playing on The Original Gangstour tour with Drop dead, gorgeous, Eyes set to kill, and special guests And then we were none.
