Everything started with this car. We saved our money for almost a year, so we could buy it.
It was going to be our ticket to a new life. But the car wasn’t a dram car. I think it took about 5 minutes, before it broke down. So we had to wait another 3 months before it finally worked.
We painted it pink and called it our pink-positive. Finally the day came. We packed our stuff, and said our goodbyes. We drove away. I remember singing as loud as I could. We were free. Growing up there was never space to be me. I had four brothers and they controlled everything. My dad had a fulltime job, and my mother worked in a small café.
I always felt alone, until Anna started in my class. We became best friends.
From now on I was never alone. It was her and me against the world. Then we turned 18. We decided that it was time to stand on our one. So we bought this car, and drove away. In the car we talked about our lives. I always wanted to be a singer. Anna wanted to be a famous movie star.
