Sleepless in Seattle: plot summary

Sam Baldwin is a architect. He has lost his wife who died of cancer. Sam and his son move to Seattle to get a new start. Christmas evening Jonah calls to a national radio advice show. Jonah tells that he wants a new wife to his father. The radiohost wants to talk with Sam about his feelings for his dead wife. Sam tells about his feelings for his dead wife and women around the country touched by Sam's story send him letters. One of the letters is from Annie Reed a journalist from Baltimore. She is enganged with Walter. Jonah finds Annie’s letter and like it and he tries to convince his father to go to New York City to meet Annie on Valentine's Day. But Sam is begining to see a women named Victoria and Jonah doesn’t like her. So together with a friend Jonah writes a letter to Annie that he wants to see her at the Empire State Building on Valentine’s Day. Meanwhile Annie traveled to Seattle to meet Sam. On the airport Sam sees Annie and is momentarily entranced. Annie watchs at Sam and Jonah play on the beach. Next day Annie decides to talk with Sam. She watchs Sam and Jonah together with Sam’s sister, but she thinks that she is Sam’s girlfriend. She is standing in the middle of the way. Sam recognizes her and says hello she says hello and decides to takes to New York to meet Walter. Jonah’s friend helps Jonah to get a place in a plane to New York. He takes a taxa to Empire State Building. Sam is taking after him and finds him at the top on Empire State Building. Meanwhile Annie sees the Empire State Building from a restaurant and breaks up with Walter. Sam and Jonah get on the down elevator just before Annie get up. Annie sees a backpack and takes a teddy out of the backpack. Sam and Jonah get up and they see Annie stay with the backpack and they go down hand in hand.
