This movie is about a 19 years old kid,

Growing up in bad streets of South Africa,

There’s very much criminality,

Because they have to survive only with money,

So they steal from the rich folks,

And it’s all around in Africa,

Them with money got a clear future,

But it’s not acidly the same way for the poor.

No mercy.

Tsotsi (means thug.) is an angry young thief who enjoys gambling with his buddies, and stealing from people on the rough streets of Johannesburg, it’s a poor village in South Africa, Soweto, there’s no mercy, they have to survive somehow. One day he and three members of his gang (Boston, Morris, and Butcher.) spot a man with a roll of bills near the subway station, enough to survive the thug streets in South Africa. They board the crowded train and surround him, they don’t wait they do it when people standing beside of them. One member of the gang stabs the victim in the heart, and the group flees the scene with the money. Boston (teacher) is deciding to stop the thing with killing innocent people, only thinking about them self’s. Tsotsi get furious and beat him up because he begin to talk about his childhood. Tsotsi’s real name is David, but he don’t want to be could that, maybe because of his childhood, but he decide to run away from the trouble he started. In flashbacks, it show the reason why Tsotsi left his family and home: his father ordering him out of the room where his mother was dying of AIDS, Tsotsi wasn’t actually listing to him, he wanted to stay whit the mother no matter what, but he was to scared to protest his drunk father. The family dog started to bark at the angry father and then breaking the back of the dog with two kicks. Tsotsi flees to a community of orphans, and runaways living in empty building pipes outside the city. He learns to look out for himself and to take advantage of the weak. David run to the rich streets in South Africa, he sees a black woman, driving a very nice vehicle. (BMW.) Tsotsi want to steal the car, and takes a gun out of his pants. Tsotsi maybe want to drive away from the poor street life, start a new life somewhere? But the women didn’t allow him to flee, so he shout the innocent women in her stomach. It’s a hit and run. But when he’s driving away from it all, he hears a little baby crying on the backseats. David panics and deiced to take the baby with him. Tsotsi puts the little child in a paper bag and takes him back to his hut in shantytown. He don’t know what to do, he don’t know how to feet the little boy. Tsotsi quick discover that there’s a lonely mom with a child, that’s the same age like that he had kidnapped. He treat her to feet the little boy, but he binds to the little kid, and don’t want to give it away, but he needs to give the child back, but it makes him to think of his life, and what he ever did good. The little group are getting together again, but because David need food to the child, but a surprise is that it’s the house where he stole the car, and the baby. They take the baby’s father as a hostage, Tsotsi don’t want that he should get killed so he said it to them both. David is looking for the little boys room, and finally he’s there and take the stuff he need. The others is taken the things that has a value. The hostage starts the alarm of the house and Butcher want too kill him, but David made the first shot at Butcher. They do a grand theft auto, and get away before getting cached. David don’t want the life his living so he makes some chances, the group is finish, and after 3 to 4 hard days, after a lot of trouble to get money, and milk to the child he decide to give it back. Tsotsi standing outside the port of the house surrounded of police, he give the child back to the mother, and father, at the ending he begins to cry. After the time with the baby, he get a kindness and human decency, its a new chance to begin over again, maybe its was a good thing to do, when you standing in that situation, a world where there isn’t same opportunities’ like in other nations, no mercy.
