We are situated in North Arfrica. The revolutionary front (the rebels) attack African villages and kill many of the inhabitants. Salomon Vandi's family has been taken away from him, including his precious 12 year old son. He is taken to a slavery camp, working and finding diamonds for the rebels. There are many diamonds, and businessmen from all around the world gather around in order to get a piece of the massive earning possibilities. Salomon has been many days in the camp, and found no diamonds. But one day his foot stomped upon something. Salomon bent down, slowly feeling the object. His eyes opened wide when he discovered it was a huge diamond. Knowing that this diamond was worth millions he tried and smuggle it away from the guards. He got away, but a revolutionary leader saw him burrie it in the ground. Right when he saw it he got shot. The government had found the camp, and brought them to a jail. The exact same jail as an American diamond smuggler named Art had been taken to, for a failed smuggling attempt. The revolutionary leader was furious, knowing that the diamond was worth millions, and he thought Salomon still had the diamond with him. He screamed for him to return it to its real owner, but got taken away for his violent behavior. Just before he got taken away he screamed, “I know your name, Salomon Vandi!”. Salomon got set free, and Art contacted him. They made a deal, and Salomon promises to show Art the diamond on one condition. He needs to find his family.
