Finally, the Christmas was coming. All of our hard work was finally paying of, but this Christmas wasn’t looking to good for us. Santa wasn’t feeling well because of the climate changes and the ice where melting.
Santa is the warmest and most delightful person I’ve ever meet. When ever it’s going bad for the world, he is feeling bad to. That’s why we have a pixie summit meeting today, where the climate changes is the main tropic. “Our dear friends the polar bears are suffering of the climate changes too!” Jessie said, an old but very vise pixie. “We have to do something now, otherwise will our dear Santa not be able to fly out with all the presents this year.” Jessie submitted. “I have an idea” Paul almost shouted. “We can send one of us down to the COP15 in Copenhagen in disguise as one of the humans?”. “That’s actually a great idea” Jessie added.
- Monday 7th December -
I was the lucky pixie who was chosen to travel all the way from the North Pole to the town of Copenhagen in Denmark. I could feel the pressure but I had to try to forget it and focus on planning how to help at the summit. I thought about it for a while and then came op with the plan. The plan was that I had to speak with someone impotent, someone with a lot of power. But who would that person be? What about Barack Obama, I thought to myself. The President of U.S.A certainly has a lot of influence on people. So I took my small travel backpack and walked to the big climate change summit. I looked everywhere for Obama but he was nowhere to find in the big amount of people. But then it hit me that I properly wasn’t aloud to speak the president, because of all the security and because of the fact that Obama don’t know who I am. So I pretended to be a journalist from the North Pole and after long discussions with the security guards they finally aloud me to give Obama a very brief interview. I was very nervous but I knew that it was what was needed of to do. I sat in a chair facing Obama and told him that I’m one of Santa Claus’ pixies and then I told him the whole story about Santa Claus being sick an all that. When I where done telling him the story he just looked strange at me as if I were a simpleton, but then he suddenly said: “I knew it! I knew that Santa really exists! Listen little pixie, I'd love to help you because I am also a big believer in that we must do what we can to help the environment to get on the right track again. But I do not know what you want me to do? "He said kindly. ”Well, I have a plan. You could do a speech in live television in front of the whole world and tell them that everyone has to make an effort so this can go successful, because although it may not be their country that is melting right now, but maybe their land will be flooded of all that melted ice one day.” Obama nodded: “Well, I will do everything in my power to help you! You can safely go home and tell Santa Claus the good news.” I immediately took my bag pack and went home again.
