Kurt Cobain, was born on February 20th, 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington. His mothers name is Wendy Cobain, and his fathers name is Donald Cobain. Kurt’s mom and dad were divorced when Kurt was only 7 years old. At 11 years, he started to listen to Rock music.
Kurt didn’t have the most funny childhood. He was very lonely, and felt like no one loved him.
At the age of 18 yeas, Kurt moved to Olympia. Two years later, he created the rock band NIRVANA, together with Krist Novoselic and Chad Channing. Later Chad left NIRVANA, and was replaced by Dave Grohl. Kurt was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of the rock band. Much of the anger from the songs, was something he remembered from his parents fights, when he was a little boy. It went very well for Kurt these years. A big house, cool concerts, many friends, fans, etc. They made their first single, “Smells like teen spirit”, one of the biggest hits of the ninety’s. NIRVANA introduces a new sound, Grunge, that became very popular.
In 1992, Kurt got married to Courtney Love, who was a singer in a band named HOLE. The same year their daughter Frances Bean was born. Kurt started to use drugs.
