It all began when my brother started in high school. Even though the teachers told him to take a year more in middle school, he insisted that he could manage 3 years in high school. He should never have done that, but instead he should have listened to the teachers that have experience with young people. It was easy to see, he met the wrong people at the wrong time. Even though he was in high school he never did any homework, and every time we asked about his school, he would just say it is going fine.

My brother was a very withdrawn person and could easily be tempted by the wrong people, and that is how it went. I slowly began seeing where this would end, I tried to talk him from it, but he didn’t listen. He locked himself in his own room and only came out to eat when we all went to bed. He slept all day and didn’t go to school.

I knew he was doing drugs, but didn’t even have the slightest idea how to help him. I managed to talk to him a couple of times just to start a conversation, but it didn’t seem to help. In the end mom and dad threw him out of our home, it was a necessity, he was way out in drugs and had several depressions.
