The boy wants to grow up and be a man. He is following a man, and I think it is his father. The man tells the boy that he will be a man, if he can kill. But does the boy he know what it feels like to grow up and be a man, or does the man put pressure on the boy and stress him?
The story takes place in the land of kangaroos, Australia. It is a spring morning when it is lush and humid. In the story the narrator is omniscient, he tells us about the boy’s feelings and thoughts, but is a limited omniscient narrator because we do not know anything about the two persons. We do not know anything about the feelings and thoughts of the man. The story is 3. Person narrator, we see the events from the boy’s point of view.
The characters in the story are a man and a boy, and perhaps they are related, but it does not say. We do not know the exact age of the boy, but I would think he is around 15-16 years old, when he is starting to grow up and be a man. The relationship between the man and the boy is not especially good. They do not talk a lot. The man gives orders
