The main characters in the movie are played by Dustin Hoffman as Raymond Babbitt, and Tom Cruise as Charlie Babbitt.Raymond Babbitt: Raymond Babbitt is Charlie big brother, and he is autistic. He always talks about numbers, and he is good to remember things. He lives on an institution, Wall Brooke, with disabled people. He gets 3 million $ of his father, who has just died.Charlie Babbitt: His is Raymond’s little brother, and he father just died. He is owns a car company, with Lenny. He’s secretary is Charlie’s girlfriend, Susanna. He only finds out that he got a brother, because he wants the 3 million $. He only thinks about money and him self.Summary

The movie starts with Charlie. He’s father just died, so he expects he will inherit the money from his father. But he didn’t get the money, it was another person. Charlie is in financial difficulties. He’s fathers lawyer, didn’t want to tell him, because he had promise his that, that he won’t tell anybody. Charlie gets mad, and finds out where the money is, but he only finds an address. So Charlie, and Susanna, drives to the address. It was an old institution, with old people. The find out, that the man there gets the money, is Charlie’s brother, He’s name was Raymond, but people called him rain man. Charlie abducts him, and Raymond doesn’t like, that he is not on the institution. There were taking on a motel, and get to no each other better. But there was something special about Raymond. He was an autistic. He was really good to figuring, and remembers. He’s brother, use him to go to the casino. They win all the time, just because Raymond could remember all the cards. Charlie wants to get the half of Raymond’s money. Raymond is always scared of things, and he repeats himself a lot. Charlie accepts that he had a brother, and learning to take care of Raymond’s autistic. In the time, they get to know each other better. Charlie realizes that he really loves his brother, and wants to protect him. Charlie talks to the lawyers, and he try to get he’s part, of the money. But then he realizes that he wants to be with his brother, more than he wants the money. In a meeting, Raymond has to deicide if he wants to stay at Charlie, or he wants to go back to the institution. He can’t decide, so the doctor decided that he goes back on the institution. Charlie is happy that he got a new brother, and he decides to come and visit Raymond. My Opinion
