More than a walk

I checked the sky for signs of rain and set off early to make the most of the day. I had packed my bag with a few necessities - a bite to eat, a bottle of water and heaps of curiosity about what the day would bring. I walked outside with my big backpack and just walked around the big city which is New York City. I have always dreamed of coming to this city. There were a lot of people, big buildings and cars. There was a lot of noise from the cars driving around on the big road. I had got my stuff packed out, so now I was ready to discover. I'm not crazy about culture, but now I've come to such a big and beautiful city, I had to see some things. The first thing I went to was Statue of Liberty, I had great expectations to see her, if it was as nice as people said. I think that It was so fascinating to look at, and I also thought it was exciting what was said in the microphone. I also go to Central Park where I had packed a lunch package that I could eat there in the beautiful scenery. The last and most coveted I would see was Times Square, which I'm told was going to be so big and beautiful, especially in the evenings where there is light from all the buildings. I had bought a lot of clothes and makeup, I also bought a gift for one of my friends. Suddenly a dog ran over to me. I think it was a homeless dog. The dog had a nice brown color, but it was thin, really thin, you could clearly see the ribs. The dog limped also on the left hind leg. I squatted and tried to call it, but it would not, so I went to an animal store to buy something fed. It worked, I began gently to talk to it, so we became friends. I took the dog to the vet, he looked at his leg and gave him some penicillin. The vet said that it was a healthy and briskly dog, who just need of some food and love. I took the dog home with me and now it's like my little baby. ?d d d d d d d At this day, I learned that, it is good to do something for other. As taking Kiko to my home. And it also felt very good to make a difference.
