Diana was born the 1st of July 1961 in England. Her parents were Edward John and Frances Spencer. She had two big sisters and a little brother. In 1967, when she was six years old, her parents got divorced after a 14 years long marriage. Diana’s mother left with a wealthy man and Diana`s father, Edward John Spencer, got the custody of the children.
Diana was educated at home until she was nine years old, but in 1970 she was sent to her first boarding school. There, she excels in swimming, diving and ballet.
In 1980, when she was19 years old, Diana had a love affair with Prince Charles. She worked as an assistant in a kindergarten and lived in an apartment in London together with three other girls.
The 29th of July 1981, Charles and Diana got married at St. Pauls Cathedral in London. Diana was 20 years old, and Charles was 32. They had known each other for about six months when he proposed on February 1981. There were 3500 people at the church to see the wedding. About a billion people either saw it on TV or heard it on the radio. Diana arrived at St. Pauls Cathedral escorted by five mounted military police officers.
