Last summer we rented a house in Wales. We had seen an advertisement in a Danish newspaper, and after we had discussed the family’s plans we wrote a letter to the address. The owner answered, that the house was vacant in July, and when we had studied the enclosed pictures, we determined to rent it for fourteen days. We ordered tickets to the boat from Esbjerg to Harwich and on the thirtieth of June, we started full of expectations. The weather was fine and the ocean was peaceful, so we enjoyed our tour, and we arrived in Harwich in the afternoon. On our way through England we pass different famous towns. We dank tea in Cambridge, one of two old university towns, and admired the beautiful, old buildings. When we were approaching Stratford-on-Avon, were Shakespeare was born, we started looking around for a suitable place to stay overnight. We stopped by a quite ordinary house with a sign outside. There stood B & B on it. We were pleasantly received, got two double bedrooms, and we slept well. After an enormous breakfast with bacon and egg, roasted toast and marmalade and lots of pots of tea, we continued our tour the following morning. Later that day we approached the welsh border. The landscape changed, and there were big hills ahead. In Wales most of the signs are written in two languages, welsh and English, and that’s because many welsh people want a Wales that is independent of England Thank god, most of the welsh people talk English. The Welsh language is very hard to learn. What is your opinion on this word: ????
