Rabbit Proof Fence In the beginning of the 20th century, Australian government began to remove the half-cast Aboriginal children from their parents. The children were often re-located in institutions, or sometimes sent to foster homes. They got raised so that they could be integrated into white society, where the black color of their skin eventually could be bred out. The film Rabbit Proof Fence shows us a controversial issue in Australia and stands as a powerful testimony to the suffering of “the stolen generation”. The movie Rabbit Proof Fence is an Australian drama movie directed by Phillip Noyce in 2002.
