Civilizing youngsters by the use of devices

In Britain they have trouble with young teenagers gathering around places people do not want them to. People in Britain sometimes feel afraid of those young teenagers because they gather in big groups outside of the stores etc. This has made a discussion in the Britain about what to do to stop this these young teenagers gathering in big groups at such places. This has made some supermarkets and other places invest in a device called the “Mosquito”. This device has started a huge discussion about whether to use it or not, nor if it should even be legal. Therefor I will in this essay talk about this device and my opinion on it and focus on what makes those young teenagers gather in groups, and other ways to stop at solve this problem.

Problems with ”youngsters” gathering in locations such as supermarkets, parks and schools have made Britain invest in a new device, the “Mosquito” which is a transmitter that sends out a pulse at 18 kilohertz that switches on and off four times a second for up to 20 minutes. This device typically only be heard of teenagers younger than 25, as this sound can only be obtained by some hairs in the ear, which, on average, dies by the age of 25. This device has made a huge discussion about whether it’s humanly right and if it’s the right way to solve the problem. Is this device a violation of the human rights? Is it right to form teenagers in such a way? I think that the device is a useful tool for the police who can use if it’s necessary, and only then. I do not think that it’s humanly right that this device should be on all the time at places like supermarkets, as I personally think that it is a violation of the human rights of freedom as this device forces those people to go away, even if they have not done anything wrong. I think that this device could be useful in the supermarkets, but it should be the job of the security who work in those supermarkets which have the job and ability to decide when to turn on this device in situations when it is needed, and with that have the responsibility not to abuse it. This device should only be used when necessarily, as it is in my opinion almost a torture tool. I do not believe this device is the right way to civilize teenagers even though it is an intervention of a useful tool which could have a huge impact and use in the right hands in the right situations and only then. Is it even the teenagers who are to blame for their bad forming of groups or is it the community who is to blame? I think that teenagers is sometimes kind of forced into gathering at those places because of a bad shaped community that has not been giving the right support to teenagers who actually may just need a place to hang out such as clubs where they can meet with their friends and play some video games or pool or something like that which could be entertaining and therefore solve the problem of them gathering places like the supermarket and the school and so on. I also think that they could and should focus more on the school system and shape the teenagers into a brighter future in the schools before they start forming rival groups which they may turn into. That could at least make this new device unneeded. I understand that it may not be an easy task to solve this problem quickly, but after some time, maybe years, the system will eventually have found a way to civilize kids to a brighter future which would prevent them for making rival groups. Britain could at least solve the problem in other ways than by the usage of devices like the “Mosquito”. But how could the school system do things different for a start? The school system could start taking the perspective of their students and maybe ask them more about what they want, and then taking that information into actions and try things out. Britain defiantly need to take action so that their system will not be shaped into a community of abuse of power and violation human rights. Nobody nor anything should be forcing anyone to do something they do not want to do nor act by use of power and “torture” which this device in my opinion basically is. If the British community gets to the point of accepting this, then what will the next thing be if this does not turn out to solve the problem? What solutions will come after this and how would they be solved? What device will be the next one?
