HOLES – William Bach 9.x 1: The book is about a boy named Stanley. Stanley is a fifteen years old and he is overweight. Stanley is sent to a place for juveniles called Camp Green Lake. It was the result af a trial and this was the penalty form the judges. There he will dig holes all day and live the hard life. On Camp Green Lake, Stanley gets some friends, who also are juveniles. Their names are X-ray, Zero, Armpit, Zigzag, Magnet and Squid, but it’s not their real names, just nicknames. Camp Green Lake is a hard place.
