Resume af filmen 'West is West'

Yesterday I went to the cinema, with the school. So we could watch the Salam movie: “West is West”. The movie starts out in Salford, North of England. Here we meet a boy Sajid Khan, who is half British and half Pakistan. But even if he is Pakistan, he doesn’t anything about it. Sajid can’t even find Pakistan on a map. And he don’t really like to be Pakistan, actually he hates it. Because he gets bullied by the others, and they dislike him.

Sajid also skips school, and one time had been shop-lifting. And when Sajid in anger call his dad “Paki”, his dad decides to take Sajid to Pakistan. To learn Sajid how it is to be Pakistan. But Sajid act stubborn, and won’t let go of England. And they end taking to Pakistan.

Sajid is then told to go to school, but he won’t. So an old wise man takes him out, and teaches Sajid instead. Here Sajid meets a boy, who he becomes friends with.

And when Sajid hears that his brother has trouble with finding a wife. So Sajid decides to help his brother, with help from his new friend. They go looking for a wife. And finally they find one. So they try getting her to talk, and it works.
