The sun was shining through the trees as I passed through the entrance to Central Park. It was a fantastic day for a walk in the park. I was I bit tired after a long day exploring the city, so I sat down on a bench in the popular park in New York centrum. The weather was fantastic and there was a lot of happy people. Some was walking their dog, some was on a run and some just sat down and talk with their friends. A young man suddenly sat down next to me. He asked if I was in the park today because of the annual easter parade. I had no idea what he was talking about. He explained that he was born and raised her in New York and his absolute favorite thing about easter was the parade. I was really confused I had never heard of it. So, I ask what the easter parade was. And the man told me that it was a parade that was old once a year in the Easter break. Many people get together to celebrate easter and the fact that winter is over. They dress up in their finest, funniest, and festive clothing and big colorful hats. I was surprised that I never heard of it before because it sounds like a big arrangement. That man said that the parade would walk right past us if i had time to stay for at bit.
