Christmas is after my opinion the best season of the year. This is the time with a lot of wonderful traditions.
For some people the best are the presents, others like the good and cozy time with their family and friends, dancing around the Christmas tree and so on.
I really like all of these traditions.
During December we make different kind of delicious Christmas cookies. We store our cookies in Christmas boxes with Christmas motives when they are baked. We have had the Christmas cookie boxes since I was a little child. We also make sweets of marzipan listening to all our old Christmas music. We have a really good time together. We sing along and we taste the marzipan to see if it is good enough!
In my family we have a lot of birthdays in December and the day before 1th of December. For example three cousins, two aunts, two grandparents, one uncle, my mother’s aunt and my older brother and older sister. My sister is even so “lucky,” her birthday is 23th December, the day before Christmas.
Every second Christmas my mother has to go to work until the afternoon. Then my sister and I go to her job. My mother works at the local nursing home. We find it very cozy and we wish the old people a Merry Christmas.
