English Christmas Traditions. In England and other English speaking countries, the Christmas is celebrated the 25th December instead of the 24th. Christmas night the kids hang up their socks and leaves some cookies and milk for santa, and some carrots for the reindeers. About midnight when santa comes, he lays presents in each of the childrens socks. The presents are opened in the morning the 25th December, and it’s a happy family moment were u are gathered around the Christmas tree. Another Christmas tradition is to hear or see the queens Christmas speech while you eat the lovely Christmas dinner.
