Ender wasn’t like any other kid, he had a rough childhood. Maybe the main reasons for that is that he was the Third. Being a Third meant that he was the third kid of his parents. When this story happens you are only allowed to have 2 kids, and if you are a Third that gotta be some reason for that.

Kids at school looked down on him because of that. They wanted to pick on him, but couldn’t do it while he had a monitor in the back of his head, but when it was removed from him, they started to pick on him right away. He had to do something in it and he letarally kicked one boys ass for picking on him named Stilson, to show the kids the should not pick on him.

In his family he was the third as I mentioned, and that wasn’t quiet normal. He was very smart kid, much smarter than his brother that hated him and picked on him all the time for being so smart, maybe because he wanted to be in his footsteps.

He had to go to school in space and he left his family for that mainly because he said that was his reason to live was to got to that school.
