Samantha Landon's Message in a Bottle

To the person who finds this bottle: I’m so glad that you have found my message. My name is [NAVN A] and I am fifteen years old. I live in USA with my mom and dad, or at least I used to do. Some weeks ago I ran away from my home town, because I got into an argument with my mom, and I am far away from home now. It was not one our usual arguments. No, this one made me really angry and sad, so I just left. A strange man saw me walking aside a road outside the town. He wanted to help me and drive me home, and I had no other way I could get home before night, so I said yes. He seemed weird and lonely, which scared me a lot. I could not understand, that he drove the opposite way from town, but I kept still. We ended at a seashore, where I tried to run away from him! I was terrified that he was going to hurt me. I managed to escape to a small seaside, but I have only seen some few people, who could not help me. All I know is that I am near the border between USA and Canada. Maybe in Oregon or Washington. I had never seen this coming, but I actually miss my parents. They must be worried, so I want you to help me. I have been looking for help or some options to get away from this empty country, but it is impossible. The only option left was to write a letter and hoping, that someone would find it someday. Fortunately, I am the type that always has something to write with on me, and this is the first time it is me for a favor. With a hope of getting help, I am writing this letter.There is no option left for me so please help me. Here is what I want you to do: Call the police at first and make them contact my parents. You can give them this letter or send it. I have written the address on the top of the letter. My parents’ names are [NAVN C] and [NAVN B]. Tell them that I will stay near the coast until they find me. Please, help me!
