To the person who found this message: I’m so glad that you have found my message. I should get to the point on how you could save me or something like that, but by the time you find this I’m either dead or on the verge of death at least. I have already given up on survival at the moment I’m writing this, so instead of dying and not being remembered I would appreciate it if you want to help me being remembered. First I should probably tell you about myself, my name is Samantha Landon, I am (or was depending if I’m really dead) a navy seals marine and I was coming back home from 100 days in the field. Me and my squad were about 100-150 miles from our base when something with the engine went wrong, we were ordered to jump from the helicopter in parachutes. It was going fine until I landed in the water with no one around, except a corpse. I couldn’t see who it was and a big wave was coming, so I tried swimming away to safety with no luck at all. I went unconscious and woke up on an island, the shore was full of rocks and clams, so naturally I would get up and move because it was really hurting my back, but I was so tired that I actually slept there the night. Since I woke up here I have been trying to survive and I have been doing okay, but not the best and the fact that there is no one around is driving me crazy. I still have a bit of sanity left so you’re not getting rid of me just yet. I have a daughter at home and a loving father and husband, who I wish the best for, and I would like you to go send them a message from me saying that I love them till the end of the world and hope they’re doing okay. In order for me to get remembered please write to my Captain, Captain Josh Merlin, send him this letter and ask him to make me and my squad remembered. If you would do a little extra work for me I’d like you to paint or make a mark for me in every single state, I know it’s a lot to ask for but maybe you have friends or family somewhere in other states. Anything helps and maybe you don’t believe in god, but I do believe in karma and when you do something good for someone, something good will happen to you, and I think that something good will come from doing this for me.
