The book is written by J. K. Rowling and was first published in 1997. JK Rowling is a British author and has since the release had great success. She has since written six books in the Harry Potter series, 4 of which are filmed. J. K. Rowling was born in 1965 and is actually called Joanne Rowling Katleen. Today she is Britain's richest woman.

Summary:

The book is about a boy called Harry. Harry’s parents were murdered by the evil wizard Lord Voldemort. Harry lives with his uncle and aunt. Harry doesn’t no that he is a wizard because he has never been told what he really was. But one day a guy called Hagrid comes by with a letter to Harry. In the letter harry was told that he is going to a school called Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a school only for witches and wizards.

In the train to Hogwarts Harry meets with a boy called Ron Wesley and a girl called Hermione.

Those tree became the best friends in the world. Lord Voldemort returns to Hogwarts to kill Harry. But he’s going to realize that killing Harry is not an easy task.
