Talent Shows: A Dream or a Nightmare?

Multiple of the contesters audition to talent shows, very few of the people actually got talent. Many attend just so they can be on television, even though they get humiliated in front of the whole nation. The judges are rude and the audience is yelling condescending words. People home in the living rooms are also criticizing participants. It is silly what people will do for 5 minutes of fame. And it is incredible that they actually do it. There are actually some of them who believe that they are good singers, dancers, magicians and others, because nobody have had the guts to tell them that they truly suck at whatever they are doing. I feel bad for them, but I kind of feel like it’s the friends and parents job to tell the truth, before the contestants embarrass them self in front of thousands of people. Sometimes there are also people who doesn’t suck and actually have a special gift, and for them the talent shows are good because they get a chance to show the world what they are capable of, and they might get a contract with a record lapel (if it is a singer or a band).
