The Aboriginals arrived in Australia for 40.000 years ago. They were seen as animal and they were treated the same way. The aborigines represent only 2% of the Australian population and it 400.000 people. They where between 1 to 3 million Aboriginals in Australia before the Europeans came. They were divided up in more than 650 different tribes all around over the country. They lived in the nature with freedom and friendship.

Before the Europeans came the Aboriginals live was much different than today. They had no king or leader, but a man or an old woman to solve their problems. They knew how to detect and catch the animals, and they knew which plants that could be used in medicine or used as food. The men used the boomerang as a weapon to kill the animal.

After the Europeans came to Australia the Aboriginal were changed into being more civilized like the Europeans and be more 'white'. They should were clothes, live in houses and the learn Europeans culture. They were considered as second-class citizens.

Today most of the Aboriginals live on the streets without money or jobs. The aboriginals are not the same today as back then. They are still not part of Australian society. The Aboriginals have not the same stature as Australians. They way the aboriginals are seen today is drunken, smelling, lazy and black people. They are living in places where the Australians don't want to live and many don't have a work.
