Hello Louise    I am writing from the US. As you may know, I have been then for a week now. The first  couple of days was all about getting use the changes. But I have went to my new school for a  week now. The other pupils were so kind to me from the start, and they still are. The school is  called “Bold high school” which lays in the state of California. I am very glad to go to this  school, because the other pupils are so sweet. The school environment is very serious, but in  the breaks we laugh and fool around a lot. I found it surprising that most of the other pupils  are overweight, they eat so unhealthy! It is very different that I now have to go to a new room  every time I switch subjects. I also think that our school days are too long.     That where this accident in our chemistry class. A guy we call “Toby” was supposed to make  an experiment. He was standing at the catheter, he started okay. But then it turned very bad.  Instead of putting out the fire with water as he was supposed to. He used gas and that really  got the fire going. The Catheter went on fire and the fire started spreading to the walls. But  then our teacher ran to the fire extinguisher, and turned off the fire. Me and all the other  pupils got very scared. Toby started to cry, not because he was hurt. But because he was the  one who started the fire. Our teacher tried to comfort him, but he just couldn’t stop crying. I  think he was in shock, because he still shivered 10 minutes after. Our teacher sent him home,  because he needed to be alone for a while.    It is exciting to have so many new subjects. We have spanish, drama and psychology. Which  I didn’t have in Denmark. I really like spanish, because I like to role on the r’s. Drama is also  very exciting, because I have never really tried acting before, and it is quite fun. I like
