Today, the 25th July 2078, is a remarkable date. Precisely 100 years ago, a baby called Louise Brown were born, she was the first “test-tube baby”. Because of that I have considered to write this article about science.

My name is Mads, I’m 85 years old. I have seen the technology change from the days where you only could make 2-D software for computers, and until now where you can’t find the line between technology and the real live. From 2009 to 2078 Developers have done all you could have thought of in 2009 as science-fiction (no light sabers though). The coolest ideas that were possible in 2009 have just changed into completely normal items. In 2009 a group of developers made a system that combined GPS, accelerometer (the device can “feel” how you are turning it) and camera to make an “augmented reality”. The software was made for the iPhone, when you started the application it showed you what the camera could see, but it also showed arrows that pointed toward parking lots, subways and so on. Some years later it was possible to build it into a normal pair of glasses, by removing the camera and instead of normal glass it was changed to an OLED screen, which was transparent and could be flexed in the way you wanted.
