Precious film opgaver

Which emotions and/or reactions did you have while watching the film?  We often see that she is hurt, and emotional, but besides? ?that we do see that she is  happy when she is in school with ms. Rain and her new friends, who actually seems  to like her. She isn’t hurt anymore, I think it’s a great way she has recovered from all  her memories and sorrows.    What are some of the themes in the film?  One of the big themes in the movie is hope. Precious was born with the worst  circumstances but she still managed to keep her hopes high. And find the bright side  of life. She also kept hoping to be famous. And instead of give up and live a life like  her mom did. She went to school even when her mother told her not to. In the end of  the movie it also says: “This is to all the precious girl out there”  “When life knocks us down we can choose whether or not to get back up.” Precious  is an example who fulfil this proverb.   There is also all the smaller themes as: Love, let down,     Which scenes and images in the film stand out for you?  The two special scenes which makes an impression on you is in my case the scene  where she has just got home for the first time with Abdul, and then her mother just  flips out.   The other scene is at the end when she has just been at the welfare office and  Precious has just left her mother, you see a girl who has evolved so much mentally  the she can stand up to her mother and just walk away with that feeling she is happy  whenever she is with her children.   When Precious mother wants to see Abdul and Precious after they got into a fight,  the mom tries to convince Precious to come back home. But Precious had finally  become strong enough to say no to the mother.    What do you learn about the USA?   I think that we get the impression that the USA’s Welfare system is nowhere near as  good as in Denmark, and that there are areas with poverty that you see way more  than you would in Denmark.   Picture: What is Precious thinking?  If it’s in the start of the movie she might be thinking that she isn’t good enough and  they are just staring at her to find out which one of the guys can make the funniest  joke about her. She obviously realises how they are mocking her, and therefore she  is looking sad and also quite alone.  If the picture is taken in the end or after the movie is done, she would clearly not give  a fuck, she would just move on and think that they can look at her as much as they  want, she don’t care anymore, because she is happy whenever she has her children
