This is [NAVN A] reporting about my work on the aboriginal kids. It all started with me being sent off on a mission to take these half cast children, and take them to an orphanage, where we would teach them how to be like white people. It wasn't really that hard, all i did was tricking them into thinking, that we were going out shopping. I guess they realized that we weren’t going out shopping, after we had driven for about half an hour. I couldn’t help but feel bad for them, taking them away from their mother and father. I couldn’t stop asking myself “is this the right thing to do?”
When we got to the orphanage, we quickly washed them, and got them some new clothes. We showed the way to the dormitory where there were lots of mattresses laid out on the floor, and we gave them a bucket if, if someone had too pee at night. In the morning we woke the children up so they could go to the church and pray their morning prayers, to our lord and saviour. After the children were done praying, a man which name i can’t remember, came to see which children had the lightest skin. The children with the lightest skin, were the ones who were most likely to get adopted.
