You’ve got a Friend in Me Being different is something that everyone deals with. We all have little quirks about us that aren’t quite like anyone else. Sometimes being different can be something that we chose to do, like coloring our hair a crazy color, but in most other cases being different is not something that we chose. John Steinbeck’s novel Of Mice and Men follows the life of Lennie Small, who is different because of his intelligence being very low. The novel explores the struggles Lennie faces, but also sheds light on how friendship and love help him through.
