Some of the pros by legalizing death penalty would be the total sum of money prisons would spare. It´s expensive to keep prisoners for lifetime, so an injecting would stop that cost. All the money that was saved could go to the society, and other helpful deeds. Legalizing death penalty would also make young’s realize, that they have to take responsibility of their actions. It would spread awareness, which would act as a scarecrow, and prevent future crimes. Families will also be brought some peace, thinking that the same person will not harm them again. Once, death penalty was a very unsafe method, because it was not entirely sure that they had the right criminal at hand, but nowadays, modern technology and DNA testing can be successfully used to find the right criminal.
Arguments against death penalty:
My opinion of the death penalty is that every human has the right to live, no matter what they did. What is the person, that has to kill the murder? Then he becomes a murder too? That doesn´t make since in my head. Another huge problem is if a person is charged and sentenced to death, and some new proves are discovered, and it turns out that the victim was innocent.
