She starts getting obsessed with finding the girl, though at first it starts out as being just a strong feeling of motherly love towards a child, and sympathy for the grieving mother, which is the sole reason that makes the woman search for the girl. But soon it changes, the woman gets herself deeper and deeper involved with searching for the girl. She sacrifices a large amount of her time and money on this case, simply because she has nothing else to do. No obligations, no appointment, no friends to chat with and no family to take care of other than her two grown sons. Therefor she allows herself to immerse herself into the task to find the girl.
