Filmanalyse af 'Stardust'

Stardust is a fantasy movie made by the movie company, Paramount Pictures. The director of the movie is Matthew Vaughn.

To make a long story short; the movie is about this boy Tristan who experiences a lot in this fantasy world named Stormhold. He meets a girl/star, Yvaine and then we follow them on their journey back to where Tristan lives, Wall. The reason why he wants to bring Yvaine back to Wall is because he promised the girl of his life to do so. That’s the only way he can win her heart.

It all starts in the little English village, Wall, where Tristin also lives. Close to Wall there’s a border made out of rocks. On the other side of the border, the magic kingdom of Stormhold lays. The differences between Tristan and Victoria (the girl of his life) are many. She is a rich girl, and the social distance between them are in general very big. One day they see a falling star, and because of his feelings for Victoria he promises to bring back the falling star to her. So they agree that if he Tristan can bring back the falling star within a week, she will marry him. Otherwise it’s a no. Therefore, he has to cross the border and start hid journey through Stormhold. On the journey he meets many weird figures. At last he finds the fallen star, but it isn’t a star as he thought. It’s a girl with the name; Yvaine. At the beginning there isn’t many whom would think, that Tristan and Yvaine will end up falling in love with each other. On their way back to wall they meet many obstacles. And I think that it’s maybe what makes them fall in love. That they experience so many things together in such sort time. They are forced to get the best out or the situation that they are in. And so they do.
