The film is called bend it like Beckham, And has many interesting topics, that we all can relate to. The film covers a lot of a teenagers problems, and I think that everybody who's been a teenager, can relate to a lot of the dilemmas, happening in the movie.

For an example we have love, as one of the topics. When we first meet Joe and Jules, we can kind of feel, that they both have feelings each other. That changes when we see, Jess almost kissing with Joe. We also know that Pinky, Jess sister, is engaged to a man named Teetu. We know that, Jess has a big passion for playing football.

Another topic in the movie is religion. From seeing the movie, we know that the Bhamra family has a big relationship to their religion, and it’s a big part of their daily life. The religion also say that you cant be with a white man, you cant be gay, and worst of all no sex until marriage...

A different topic is sports. From the start we see, that jess finds, a big part of her to play football. It starts in the park with some friends, but soon her interest starts to increase, and she starts on the girls team, in the local football club. Then she meets Joe, Jules and the rest of the squad. At first she doesn’t want to play because of a scar on her leg, that she got when she were making toast and beans.
