Bent it like Beckham, is an English movie. The movie is about an Indian girl called Jesminder, she lives in England with her family. She loves football, but she can’t play, because her sister is getting married soon. We meet Jess one day, when she is playing football in the park with her friends, where she meets Jules. Jules is an English girl, and she is playing football in a football club called Hounslow Harriers. Jules mother doesn’t like that she plays football, because she is turning in to a tomboy, but her dad lets her. Jules invited Jess to play at the football team, and the coach Joe thinks that Jess is good. One day Jess is playing an important football match in Germany, where a picture of Jess and Jules comes in the newspaper. Her mother and dad notices the picture, and they get angry. In the end Jess and Jules go’s to USA, to play football.

In Jesminder’s family are there many traditions, especially about wedding. Jesminder can’t not play because hers mother doesn’t like that, her dad think that’s okay, but he say noting.

In Jules family are there not so many traditions. Jules mother think at Jules is a tomboy, and wish Jules will be a real woman.
