David Livingstone: missionær og opdagelsesrejsende

David Livingstone was born 19. March 1813. He was born in Skotland. David was born in Blyantre city. He was born in a small working home. The parents and five children had to share a room of 4x3 meters. In the little room they should eat, sleep and live. He lived in this house until he reached 23 years

Even though his family was poor he could train himself as a doctor and missionary. When he was 27 years old he finished the doctor education that he had taken at Glasgow university. David worked very hard he went to work at 8.00 am until 6.00 pm in the evening

He went to Africa 3 thrice. He was the only white man in Africa. Once in 1841 he traveled to south Africa. In 1845 he married Mary Moffat, They got 4 children. Mary died of malaria (malaria is febrile disease), She died while she was with her husband at one of his expeditions. David died 60 years old, He died from a disease, He died 1.may 1873
