It’s not often you think about how much the average person or yourself waste in a day. While a single candy wrapper or a plastic bottle would not destroy the entire world, we need to remember that there are two sides of the same coin. On average, 60 million bottles are thrown away every day, and only 20% are being recycled. This means 48,000,000 bottles are thrown into nature or burned, releasing toxic and environmentally dangerous gasses and particles.

Bottles Even though tap water is practically free and easily accessible everywhere in the west, we still tend to buy the expensive bottled water from the supermarket or at the gym and throwing the empty bottles in the bin, even though they can be reused.

Bottles are the primary issue when it comes to plastic pollution, whether it is carbon dioxide or other gasses/particles. But it is not only us who suffer from this issue, the entire nature and wildlife on earth are at stake if we don't find a solution soon.

problem-littering:

The dangers of littering are not having an unclean public park but rather critically, killing land, sea, and sky life by suffocation, food chain corruption, and air, ground, and sea pollution. This is seen especially when nylon fishing nets or other plastic-based litter with small holes, is thrown in the ocean. This is a big problem because tortoises, fish, sharks, and whales are often found dead with diseases associated with plastic pollution and, sometimes they are even found with bits and chunks of plastic lodged in windpipes and stuck around their bodies, so they can’t move, therefore often drowning.
