'Catch a Fire' filmresume

The Movie is about apartheid and the people who fought against it. The movie takes place in South Africa and it follows the man Patrick Chamusso. Patrick is a black man who has worked his way to the top from the bottom. He works at a fuel refinery and he is head of two other workers. Patrick also has a wife called Precious and he has two daughters with her. He does also have a mistress, and has a son with her. Patrick is also football coach for the local football team Secunda-lions for kids. In the start, he is just a very apolitical man who really don’t give a shit about apartheid.

Then one day there is a terror attack on the fuel refinery. And at this day Patrick has called in sick so he isn’t at work at the time the terror attack happens. He has taken free that day because he is to a tournament with the football team. When the football team is done with the soccer tournament, Patrick take home to his mistress. When he gets back to his home the new police officer Nic Vos come home to Patrick and arrest him. Nic Vos think Patrick perhaps is behind the terror attack on the fuel refinery. Now Patrick has to come up with the explanation on why and where he was at the time of the attack. But Patrick don’t want to tell the story because of the affair so he is getting tortured but still Patrick won’t tell the story. Then the police officer drag Patrick’s family in to it and torturer them too. Then eventually Patrick confess the crime he did not do to protect his family. After This Nic Vos think Patrick is innocent and release him. Now Patrick is furious and wants his revenge, so he leaves his family to join the military group that fights against apartheid ANC which also was the group who planned the terror attack on the fuel refinery. Then he get a job at the ANC to plant another bomb on the fuel refinery and this time blow it all up but still save the workers. But this plan fails because the bomb is found by Vos Nic and deactivated. Now Patrick get caught and sent 24 years in prison with Nelson Mandela. The movie ends with Patrick comes back to his wife and say sorry for everything.
