Skribentens beskrivelse af Human cloning engelsk essayThe ethical discussion behind human cloning is a complex and serious topic, a topic that needs resolving since it will soon affect thousands of people. It is stated in the text 'Embryonic stem cells: Advance in medical human cloning' by James Gallagher that “Opponents of the new technique argue that (...) all embryos, whether created in the lab or not, have the potential to go on to become a fully-fledged human, and as such it is morally wrong to experiment on them.” This truly shows what the most heated part of the discussion is, is it morally wrong to experiment on embryos if they could, in fact, grow into a human being? This was also mentioned in the interview, as it is a serious problem. If this is the case, then there is truly no discussion, it would violate countless laws against human experimentation, and the culprits would find themselves in in prison for years. However, this opens up another discussion that has been going on for years, in the field of abortions. |
