This video which are a report tells us about this new technology called 3D printing. The reporter in the video says that the university of Edinburgh has created a machine which print out the cells and then refers it to a sheep called Dolly, which where the first animal cloned from the cells taking from another body. The reporter brings in Marina Portnaya from RT studio in New York when the reporter says “is it just a matter of time before humans can be cloned?”. Marina Portnaya was brought to the studio to answer the question of which way the developers are looking to use this technology. Marina claims that experts are using this new technology for something called Bio printing. Major universities, collaborated laboratories and biomedical engineers are printing experimental hearth valves, knee cartilage, bone implants, kidney cells and healing tissues. 3D Bio printing squirt ink of living cells to build of tissue structure. Marina also says that biomedical engineers hope to print out tailored tissue suitable for surgery and organs that can be used in transplants. Experts says that they like to create organs for those who are on the list and waiting for organs.
“3D printing technology will change the world and the way we live, says expert Stuart Grover” Susanna Freymark.
