Crocodile Dundee: analyse af bushman-karikaturen

The film Crocodile Dundee is about a fictional story of a bushman called Mick Dundee, Mick is visited by a news reporter, Sue Charlton. Sue travels to Australia to investigate the report of a miraculous story of his full recovery from a crocodile attack.

Mick takes Sue out for a couple days of his daily life in nature, its in this trip Mick Dundee really shows he’s a real bushman. He shows great survival skills by protecting Sue time and time again, especially when she in particular goes for a walk herself in the wilderness, and goes for a swim and nearly eaten alive by a crocodile, where Mick comes to the rescue and fight the crocodile of her. He also showed his unhuman animal psychic like ability, whom he use control the animals to do whatever he desire, that in particular showed when he got the big bull of the road when they went into the wilderness by car. All throughout the trip in the wilderness Mick really show how tough he is, this really comes to light with the story of his survival from a crocodile attack.

Mick also uses his bushman skills in New York, the skills help him to beat up the bad guys in the movie, especially by protecting women, this shows in the scene with him beating up the pimp who interrupts him talking to the two hookers. He also used his animal skills in the scene where they are going to Sue’s family reunion where they are some crazy barking dogs he calms down.
