Food waste is defined as food, that is thrown away without being eaten by us. We need to see the world as our home, and try to make the future brighter. Food waste is growing faster day by day; we need to take responsibility and do something about it. One of the reasons people doesn’t eat the food is because the food isn’t attractive enough for people to eat - and then they throw it out.
We have so many people, that suffer from hunger, and that include children - innocent children. Concurring to the add “Save the children”, there is somewhere 2.3 m innocent children that dies every year, just because of hunger. Almost every parent will do anything to feed their children’s, but try to think - all those parents who can’t feed their kids, even if they want to. The director of Pilicy Brendan Cox said, that they had to choose. They could either eat the food to survive or their children. That is properly one of the hardest decision to make.
Wasting food is just something we do at our house, but one of the places that have the biggest food waste is at stores. Big stores only want food that looks good, and their expectations are really high for their products.
