Patrick Swayze Patrick Wayne Swayze was an American actor, dancer, singer and songwriter. Swayze was born on August 18th, 1952 in Houston, Texas. He passed away on September 14th, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. He died of pancreatic cancer, because he smoked too much in Roadhouse. That wasn’t because of that, I just thought it was funny.
