I heard there was a school shooting in L.A. today. I know you live in L.A., so I was worried about you. I hope you are okay, and that all your friends and family are too. You probably know that there are not many people in Denmark that owns a gun. In Denmark, it is illegal to have weapons, unless you have received a permit. I wish it were like that in America too. I am very worried about you getting hurt.
I hear a lot of news about shootings in America. To be honest, I don’t think it's cool to have a girlfriend in L.A. when there are so many guns. Therefore, I also hope that you take good care of yourself at home. You should always know that you can come to Denmark, my family and I would love to have you come and visit.
I think if America had some laws about not having guns, America would be a much better place. There would probably be less crime, less deaths and more peace in the streets. Fortunately, it is not me who lives in L.A., but in the quiet town, Hjarbaek here in Denmark. In Denmark, shootings don’t happen very often, it has a lot to do with our law. I think that if it was legal to have weapons here in Denmark, there would also be a lot of shootings here. Thank god there’s not, I hope and believe that everyone in Denmark is very happy about it. Although there are some people in Denmark who have some weapons (illegally), Denmark fortunately does not allow it. If someone has a weapon illegally, they will be fined or imprisoned. I think Denmark is doing the right thing in comparison to America.
