Moana: filmresume og cli-fi analyse

Moana is a girl, and she is the main character in the film. The story starts with Moana’s grandmother telling her story about Te Fiti, the mother island, and that Te Fiti could bring other islands to life through her heart. She told Moana also that someone must find the heart to restore peace in the world. That’s why Moana suggested to her father they should fish beyond the reef, but her father does not agree with it. When she tries to go out there alone, the huge wave turns her canoe. Moana’s grandmother sends her out to the sea to find someone called Maui and return the heart she was talking about.

When Moana finally meets Maui, she is trying to convince him to go on a trip with her which is hard, because Maui does not want to go with it. Moana is about to give up because she can’t see any possible way to put the heart back. But when they finally reached their destination, together they were able to restore the heart and save the Islands.

Moana is a young island girl, and she is the daughter of the chief. She is a very caring person because after her grandmother dies, she is sad and heartbroken. The ocean is “calling” Moana, her family and friends would not let her go. But she did not care about what they said so she went on a journey, and they sailed beyond the reef with her chicken, in hopes of returning the heart of Te Fiti. She meets with a strong, arrogant man who is very big. He is called Maui, and he is the one who is supposed to help Moana to restore the heart with her. They went through a lot of things, and Maui gave up a thousand times but, in the end, he stayed and helped Moana to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Moana was brave and she fulfilled what her grandmother asked her to. When they sailed back to her Island, her whole family was proud of her and they could not believe how much she helped with it and how big risk she took with doing that, because she could have died on this journey.
