“Dear delegates, students and fellow global citizens. I am very grateful to be here today. It’s been a pleasure to see how many people who have chosen to show up today, and show the support this topic has deserved. It’s an honor for me to represent my homeland Denmark today”
In our modern society, I think it’s fair to say that times have changed over the last decades. Because of this I think everybody have a completely different understanding of how they will define climate changes. Which I think is positive because it gives you the ability to base your definition based on experiences and events. Our generation are already getting teach at a very young age, about the consequences the climate changes bring along. We are constantly at a daily basis reminded of how bad the climate changes are affecting our globe. Its impressive how this comes as a shock for many when scientist has known this for decades.
Entire ecosystems are collapsing we are in the beginning of a mass extinction, but still the politicians chose to put their focus on wealth, and build a facade of their country as a CO2-clean country, where things are actually much worse than they seem. It is not human to lie to millions of people!
