Martin Luther King was born in Atlanta Georgia. His father was a minister at a Baptist Church. Martin L. King’s mother and father taught all their children to treat all people with respect, and equal. It was an important discipline for this family. When Martin L. King grew up, he noticed that “black” people and white people were treated very differently. He also knew that there were some unacceptable laws that were to separate “black” people away from white people. He was most famous for his “I have a dream” speech

The bus driver ordered Rosa parks to give up her bus seat to another passenger, and she refused. The other passenger was white, and Parks was black

Martin L. King was a leader of the American civil rights movement. He organized several peaceful protests, such as the March on Washington in 1963. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964, and, at the time, he was the youngest person to have done so at the time.
